Lake Shastina Community & Recreation
The beautiful Lake Shastina Resort community is located in Northern
California, 10 miles from the City of Weed. The development is
approximately 2,000 acres, with 4054 residential home sites.

Lake Shastina is an irrigation Lake fed mainly by
the Shasta River. At its maximum the water level is 2805 feet above sea
level, its surface area is approximately 1800 surface acres. There is
excellent fishing for trout, bass, perch and croppy. Swimming, water
skiing, jet skiing, motor boating and sailing are the most popular water
sports.
The golf course is privately owned. The 18-hole
championship golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones. There is also
a 9-hole Scottish links course. The public is welcome. Memberships are
available that allow use of the swimming pool and tennis courts as well as
the golf course. Fine dining is available in the clubhouse restaurant and
lounge.
All utilities at Lake Shastina are underground.
All roads in the community are paved, private and maintained by the Lake
Shastina Property Owners Association.
There are many recreation opportunities in the
surrounding area. Snow skiing is 35 miles away at the Mt. Shasta Ski Park
on the 14,161-foot beautiful Mt. Shasta. Snowmobiling is also available a
short distance from Lake Shastina. Siskiyou County is well noted for its
great hunting seasons for deer, bear and antelope. And within 45 minutes
to an hour's drive, you can be at one of the 100 mountain lakes and
streams for trout or salmon fishing.
